At last night’s school committee meeting, the committee considered changing the school starting times this fall. The action was delayed until the May 8th, 2018 school committee meeting to allow ample notice be given to the community about the proposed changes. The proposed change would bring the school start time to what they were originally, prior to the change in RHS starting time, and the school days being considered are:
Rogers High School 7:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Thompson Middle School 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Pell Elementary School 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
These changes will be considered for approval at the May 8th, 2018 school committee meeting. If you have concerns or questions about the new school starting times, please reach out to your school committee members or the Superintendent of Schools.
