Newport County's community resource
Located in the heart of the city right off Broadway, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center has been a Newport County resource since 1922. An independent not-for-profit, the MLK Community Center's Hunger Services, Education and Community programs strengthen our shared community. Nearly 3,000 clients were served in 2014.
The MLK Community Center is open Monday - Friday.
Preschool 6:45 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Administration 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (Our doors are locked before 10:00 a.m. and after 4:00 p.m. Please ring bell)
Afterschool Program 3:30 - 6:00 p.m.
Summer Camp 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
