We also want to remind families that there are warming centers around the city and Gaudet is still set up as a warming center for families in need of shelter at Gaudet Middle School on Aquidneck Ave. Vouchers for rooms may be picked up at the Gaudet Middle School. As of tonight, (January 22, 2019), Gaudet Middle School is the only location to get vouchers for rooms. Please take advantage of the services such as hotel rooms, warming centers, and transportation (call 211) to keep your families safe and warm.
RHS student-athletes will still have practices and games and students need to be in contact with their coaches for locations and times. You can also contact Jim Cawley at his email email@example.com.
All schools will be posting activities and updates for students to stay current in their studies. Please check in daily on your school website.

Congratulations to Millena Carapia, currently a 5th grader at the Frank E. Thompson Middle School! Last spring, while a 4th grade student at the Claiborne Pell Elementary School, Mellena worked with Art Supervisor Diane Sheehan on artwork to represent the State of Rhode Island for the annual Easter Egg Roll at the White House. Millena worked on a design with the state flag, bird and state flower. Each state is represented at the annual Easter Egg Roll, and Mellena Carapia’s design was selected as the Rhode Island design! What an amazing honor!
