■ YEARBOOKS ARE ON SALE NOW!  Order your yearbook now for $60.  The deadline is May 8th.  Please see Mr. Connell (room 306), Mrs. Kimes (room 106) or Jane Leys to purchase your yearbook.  Please make checks out to Rogers High School and write yearbook/Binnacle in the memo line.


■ NHS (Class of 2018):  Part two of your required group service project will take place on either Monday, April 23 or Wednesday, April 25 from 3-5pm in Ms. Chella's art room (room 404).  Be sure to bring your signed contract with you.

■ NHS (Class of 2019):  Our next meeting is Wednesday, April 25 in room 106 starting at 2:50 pm.


■ Newport County Driving School is offering driver’s education classes and the next one starts May 31st.  Stop by the main office for a registration packet.


■  Seniors: there will be senior project presentations next Wednesday, April 18th from 9-12. Great opportunity for athletes to present without practice or game conflicts. Sign-ups on the NCS door. See Ms. Dugan If you have any questions! 

■ Seniors, if you are planning to go to CCRI next year there will be a CCRI rep visiting April 26th at 9:45 am to make sure you have everything all set.  Mark your calendars and get a pass for Miss DeCollibus. 


■ Juniors- today is the last chance to apply for the PrepareRI Summer Internship program. Ms. Clarke will be available to help in room 307 during lunch on a first come, first served basis.


■ Are you ready to dance your way into spring vacation? What better way to start it off than by going to the White Out Dance tonight, April 13th? Tickets will be sold at all lunches through today. The cost of tickets is $10 and tickets will NOT be sold at the door so buy now to secure your spot on the dance floor. The dance will run from 7-10 pm with the doors closing at 8 pm so don't be late.


■ Last night baseball posted a thrilling come from behind 6-5 win over Classical. Jack Gomes and Ryan Crowley pitched well in relief. Logan Ratcliff went 4-4 at the plate and drove in the game winner in the bottom of the 11th inning.

■ Rogers boys track finished 1st with 78 points to claim the Class C Injury Fund Relay title. The girls finished second. Rogers boys won the shot, Discus, High jump. Long jump, and 4x400. Rogers finished 2nd in the 4x100, 4x800 and sprint medley, and placed 4th in the distance medley. 

■ Today the boy's lacrosse team hosts Chariho, 4 pm at Ft. Adams.
