■ Junior Prom tickets are now on sale. The prom with be held Friday, May 25th at Easton's Beach Rotunda. Ticket prices are $40 for Rogers juniors and $50 for any guests.  Please find the junior class officers at lunches to purchase your ticket today. The last day to purchase tickets is Monday, May 21st. 


■ Best Buddies will be holding a candy jar raffle during all lunches until May 14th.  It's a dollar per guest and the winner will receive the jar of candy!  If you have any questions please see best buddies Ambassador Jamel Wills for more information.  Thank you!!


■ The Rogers High School Theatre Company is excited to announce its spring musical production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid. This family-friendly musical has been adapted for the stage from the beloved Disney film. It features everyone’s favorite songs from the animated movie and a few new ones as well. The show will feature the students and faculty of Rogers High School, so come out and support your fellow students, your teachers and the performing Arts of Rogers High School!

The Little Mermaid will be performed this Friday, May 11th at 7 pm and Saturday, May 12th at 2 pm and 7 pm in the Rogers High School Auditorium.  Tickets will be available at the door, $10 general admission & $5 for students.


■ All students interested in playing football next year.  There will be sign-ups during all three lunches.

■ Yesterday both the girls and boys lacrosse teams earned the narrowest of victories. The girls outlasted Cranston West 10-9 while the boys edged Pilgrim 5-4.  7 pm this evening the boys will host Tiverton at Toppa Field. 

■ On the diamond, the baseball team improved to 11-2 win a 5-2 win over Shea. Softball continued to slide losing another close game this time 5-4 to South Kingstown.

■ Golf dropped two matches yesterday afternoon losing to East Providence and Mt. Hope. Niall Walsh posted Rogers low score. Today golf will host Middletown and Portsmouth at the Newport Country Club.

■ Boys Track will compete in the Eastern Division Championships this afternoon out at Portsmouth High School.
