NEWPORT COMMUNITY SCHOOL
■ Newport Community School will run in the library today. Come get your homework and makeup work done. The last day of NCS for the 2017-2018 school year is next Thursday!

ADVISORY
■ Due to AP Testing, there will be no Advisory today.

SENIORS
■ Seniors, if you would like to announce your plans for next year at Senior Launch day whether they are plans for employment, military or 2/4 year colleges see Miss DeCollibus ASAP. Signs ups close today!

■ Seniors - stop by the NCS office to pick up your presentation rubrics. 

■ Seniors:  The cost for the cap and gown is $30.00.  Payment may be made in cash or by check, payable to Rogers High School and brought to the main office.  Payments are due by graduation rehearsal in June.

JUNIORS
■ Junior Prom tickets are now on sale. The prom with be held Friday, May 25th at Easton's Beach Rotunda. Ticket prices are $40 for Rogers juniors and $50 for any guests.  Please find the junior class officers at lunches to purchase your ticket today. The last day to purchase tickets is Monday, May 21st. 

SPRING CONCERT AND SHOWCASE
■ The Rogers Art and Music Departments are having their Spring Concert and Showcase tomorrow, May 17th, at 6:30 pm in the auditorium. It will feature students from Band, Orchestra, Chorus, Guitar, and Ukulele!  There will be artwork on display in the lobby from the art classes this semester as well!  Come out and support your fellow students and enjoy a night of exciting music and art!

SPORTS
■ On senior day for boys lacrosse eight players got into the scoring column in an 11-2 win over Cranston East. Cam Edward, John Nunes, Austin Alves, Wil Martins, Nate Buchanan, Michael Ashby and Antonio Madrera all tallied goals. Max Giron, Lance Spears, Mitchell Ventura and Eamon Phelps played stellar defense in support of Nick Klassner in goal. Today the boys wrap up the regular season with another home match versus Toll Gate.

■ Golf is home this afternoon in a dual match with Bay View. Baseball faces Mt. Pleasant in Providence and JV softball heads to play Chariho.

RHS START TIMES
■ Effective September 2018, the new start times for RHS will be as follows:  Bell at 7:25 and classes 7:30 am to 2:00 pm.
