Teaching mathematics in the Newport Area Career and Technical Center facilitated using the Summit Learning Platform.
Students engage in interesting problems and activities while learning at their own pace. Technology is used to leverage teachers face time and create a more personalized learning environment. Whenever possible students are asked to engage in the learning process and take ownership of their learning experience as shown in their participation in a meeting with the RIDE Commissioner of Education shown below:
