This summer, students entering grades 7 through 10 have an exciting opportunity to dive into the world of cybersecurity at no cost. The CCRI CyberCamp, hosted at the CCRI Newport Campus, is now accepting applications for two hands-on summer sessions.
Campers will gain real-world experience through interactive labs led by CCRI professors and industry professionals, giving them a valuable introduction to one of todayâs fastest-growing career fields. According to national projections, jobs in cybersecurity are expected to grow by 33% between 2023 and 2032.
There are two camp sessions available
July 21 to 25
July 28 to August 1
Both sessions run Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, in the campus Computer Lab - Room 212.
No prior experience is required, just curiosity and a willingness to learn. This is a great opportunity for students to explore tech careers and get a head start on valuable skills.
