REMINDER - 9th Grade Chromebook Distribution / August 30 & 31
Chromebook distribution for ALL 9th graders (including part-time students) will be:
Tuesday, August 30th, - 12:00pm to 3:00pm
Wednesday, August 31st, - 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
Location: Rogers cafeteria - Enter through the red doors by the gym (Old Fort Road).
CLICK HERE for the NPS Student Laptop Agreement - Please review, print page 3, initial/sign and bring with you to pick up your chromebook. A parent or guardian MUST accompany the student IF form is not brought in completely filled out.

Are you curious to learn more about school regionalization? Do you want to have your voice heard? The Middletown-Newport Public Schools Regionalization group will be hosting a trio of public meetings later this month on July 25th at 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. or from 6 -8 p.m. in person at Innovate Newport and ONLINE via Zoom on Tuesday, July 26th from 6-8 p.m.

Rogers Summer Academic Recovery begins Tuesday, July 5th at Rogers High School from 8am to 11am, Monday through Thursday. Academic Recovery ends July 28th. Please note there have been some changes to the bus schedule. Bayside - 7:18am; Rolling Green - 7:22am; Festival Field - 7:27am; Florence Gray - 7:36 am; Park Holm - 7:38am; Van Zandt Ave- 7:40am; Broadway and Gould Street- 7:43am; Kay Street and Gibbs - 7:45am; Memorial and Chapel - 7:48am. Senior Banners are up on Broadway and now everyone can see our new RHS graduates. Thank you to the parents, City Hall and School Department workers for climbing those ladders and getting those banners up in time for graduation! đ


RI Civic Leadership Award -- Congratuations to Brettyn N. and Patrick B. Both students represented Newport and Rogers High School and received the RI Civic Leadership award at the Rhode Island State House from Secretary of State Nellie Gorbea. Job well done!


On Friday, June 17th at 11:00am, please join us for the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Rogers High School. Weâre excited to break ground on our brand new, state-of-the-art Rogers High School construction project!


The sophomore class will be holding a fundraising car wash on Sunday, May 22 at People's Credit Union on Memorial Boulevard
