Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS)

Mission Statement:

The mission of the Thompson Middle School PBIS team is to foster and promote a safe and positive school environment that enhances student learning through teaching and recognizing positive behavior.

Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is our school-wide TMS behavior program. 

PBIS establishes clear expectations for behavior in all areas of the school (classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, bathrooms, library, gym, etc.). 

Students who exhibit positive behaviors are rewarded with POWER tickets, which they may save and spend on school supplies and other items.
