Welcome to 8C1 Science
This year students will be exposed to a variety of topics within the fields of Earth, Physical and Life Sciences. Students will explore each area of science in a diversity of ways including text-based readings, projects, and inquiry based classroom experiences. Students will use a scientist notebook in the classroom, which will keep a record of what they discover throughout the year. Students are encouraged to ask questions about the world around them and be an active participant within the classroom in order to create a meaningful learning experience for themselves and those around them.
