Welcome to my speech/language page.

I have been a speech/language pathologist for since 1998.  I started working in Early Intervention with children 0 - 3 years old.  Slowly I transitioned to the school age population and I have never looked back.  I started with Newport Pubic Schools in 2002. During my years in Newport Public Schools I have worked with preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school students.

 In my free time I like to work in my garden.  Sunflowers and dahlias are two of my favorite flowers and I plant as many as I can fit into my small yard.  I also like to read, play scrabble, and cook trying recipes I see on the cooking shows.

My hope is to do more traveling, especially overseas!  I'd love to see France, Italy, and the Azores where my Portuguese family is from.
