Congratulations to Thompson Middle School STEM Specialist Kevin Bolano who was recently awarded a STEM Teacher Grant from the East Bay Chapter of the American Association of University Women (AAUW). Mr. Bolano’s STEM activity will introduce chemical analysis techniques using Crime Scene Chemistry Kits. Students will perform tests to analyze and identify substances to solve a hypothetical medical emergency.

Enhorabuena a Kevin Bolano, que recientemente recibió una beca para profesores de STEM del capítulo East Bay de la Asociación Americana de Mujeres Universitarias (AAUW). La actividad STEM del Sr. Bolaño introducirá técnicas de análisis químico utilizando los Kits de Química de Escenas del Crimen. Los estudiantes realizarán pruebas para analizar e identificar sustancias que resuelvan una emergencia médica hipotética.
