PELL ADDITION

The Pell Addition includes 8 new classrooms, 2 new resource rooms, additional bathrooms, 188 additional lockers along with some traffic safety and storm water management. The Pell addition project has been fast-tracked one full year to open in September 2022 instead of September 2023. The School Building Committee selected a Design Build team lead by Behan Brothers with Studio JEAD for time and potential cost savings. To all our surprise, the COVID price escalation has reduced the foot-print addition footprint from 15,000sq ft to 12,500 but keeping the vast majority of the critical needs to stay on budget allocation of $7.4M.
