Anyone who has visited the Seaside Cafe, grabbed a meal at the new Seaside Bites food truck, or watched our culinary students, see and taste learning in action. Our head Chef Matt Reilly, working with Chef L, motivates our students, teaches them the skills they need for a successful career in the restaurant and hospitality industry, and is the maestro behind some truly delicious food. So it is not surprising to any of us that last Wednesday evening, the RI Hospitality Education Foundation recognized and awarded Chef Reilly their Teacher of the Year award. Congratulations Chef Reilly and thank you for everything that you do for our students!
