Last month, Rogers students joined a delegation of Newport officials on a visit to our sister city of Shimoda, Japan. Our students were a wonderful representation of Newport throughout the visit, staying with host families and presenting artwork for the Shimoda Black Ship Festival. What a fantastic opportunity to learn first hand about other cultures and to continue our more than 50-year sister city partnership with Shimoda!
