Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Ellen Rayner and I have been teaching for 25 years, all but one in Kindergarten.  I grew up in Newport and attended the Newport Public Schools.  I am married and have 3 children who have attended the Newport Public Schools as well.  My oldest and middle child have graduated from RHS and my youngest will enter RHS in the fall of 2014. I  have truly enjoyed all my years in Kindergarten and am excited to be at  Pell school working with all the district Kindergarten teachers.  Our classroom is a busy learning environment in this bright, beautiful new school.  The children are busy reading and writing daily in our academic Kindergarten classrooms. As the year comes to a close we are celebrating all the learning experiences we have had this year and are well prepared to move on to First Grade.  I look forward to meeting our new Kindergarten students and their families in September for another year of fun and learning. Click here to view some Kindergarten fun!
