In Rhode Island, students who attend private schools based on their parents' choice
may still be eligible for special education services from the town in which they reside. 

The Newport Public Schools considers referrals regarding special education about anyone age 3-21
who is a) resides in Newport or b) attends a private school within the Newport city limits.
