We all remember that one teacher who inspired us to learn. Who helped us get through that really difficult class. Who sparked and nurtured a love of that topic, book, or activity we never knew about before.
That’s what teachers do, everyday, for our students. Putting in countless hours crafting lesson plans, teaching and working with our students, grading papers and exams, and participating in afterschool and community activities.
May 8-12th is National Teacher Appreciation Week and an opportunity for us to all say THANK YOU to our amazing Newport teachers! We appreciate all of their hard work they put in for our students, for our schools, and for our One Newport community. Thank you teachers!!!
