A big shout out and thank you to 13 of our Hispanic parent community members who recently graduated from the Parents Leading Equity in Education (PLEE) "Collaborative Decision Making: The Role of MLL Parents/Caregivers" program. This 7 week in-person parent academy focused on how to participate in School Improvement Teams, how to advocate to school departments, and how to be generally more involved in education. The program was a partnership with PLEE, ConexiĂłn Latina, Newport Public Schools, and the Rhode Island Department of Education. Congratulations to our parent all stars who took the time to participate and graduate!

Quiero felicitar y agradecer a 13 de nuestros miembros de la comunidad de padres hispanos que recientemente se graduaron del programa Parents Leading Equity in Education (PLEE) "Toma de decisiones colaborativas: el papel de los padres/cuidadores de MLL".
